Can face masks protect against sunshine?

Experts use a professional spectrometer to test the ultraviolet shielding ability for white, blue and black protective face masks. The results show,

White masks can block 73% of ultraviolet radiation;

Blue masks can block 93% of ultraviolet radiation;

Black masks can block 99% of UV radiation.

 It can be seen that the darker color of the mask, the better sunshine protection effect.

 But the coverage of masks is very limited on face, which is why some people are sunburnt to be a "mask faces". So even if you wear a mask, also remenber to apply sunscreen all over your face .
